"'Throughout our lives we have taken both winter and summer holidays within Europe and particularly France. We have stayed in a lot of different types of accommodation, but always found that chalet holidays were the most fun. And like many we were always loathed to leave the mountains when it was time to return home.

Our last such holiday was spent in La Clusaz, and this proved to be the key to our life change, as we then changed careers become ski team members for the very company we had skied with only a year earlier. So in true 'No Going Back' style, we moved lock stock and barrel over to La Clusaz to learn the business. We are now living our dream enjoying life in the mountains throughout the year and emmersing ourselves in the French life.

Our experience of staying and working with other holiday companies has been invaluable and has inspired us to add something special to our chalet and your holiday, and we hope you will agree.

So far the feedback from guests has been overwhelming and heartening, some guests returning year after year, sometimes twice in a season and most vowing to return again -and they do!"
Their spare hours in the winter are spent exploring the many pistes of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz, and guiding guests over snowy terrain, showing them to the many stunning views and tempting mountain restaurants. When the snow retreats, they spend any extra hours exploring the mountains on foot and bike with their children, friends and guests, photographing and documenting the many trails, (have you read some)?. The result of all their time in the open air and the mountains that they love, is a thorough knowledge of the area in all seasons which they enjoy sharing with their guests...and of course a healthy tan!
"Our love of skiing, both downhill and cross-country, was what initially lured us to a life in the Alps, but having experienced the beuatifull Aravis mountains in all seasons it is now difficult to choose a favourite timeof year. This area has so much to offer visitors of all ages and abilities, it's amazing!"

Both are arts graduates and escapees from the nine-to-five life, with previous experience in 'all things active' especially the ski industry and catering. They decided to relocate to the French Alps they love so much in order to lead a more active, healthy family lifestyle and they have never looked back.
