Drop off point at bottom of beauregard
lift, pass needed. If out of season drop off at Croix-Fry and uphill
ride to Beauregard plateau. Make sure your saddle is low and you are hanging off the back as you start the descent, warming up with a couple of jumps, followed by number of high speed banking turns and some further well placed big air jumps. The route then takes you through forest where you can take a number of routes depending on how brave you are feeling, this bit is very twisty, full of tree roots and challenging. It gets very muddy here if the sun hasn’t dried out the ground, so watch your slides. This opens up to a shallower slope but a more undulating run. Then back into the trees to a point where you cross a rough road where you can get your breath back, check your breaks and steel yourself for the 2nd half.
