Built in 2006 in traditional Savoyard style, Chalet Desgranges is modern, bright, tranquil and furnished to a very high standard. Situated in the charming village of St Jean de Sixt in the Forgeassoud area. The ski runs of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand are 2.5km away and can be easily reached by car or the ski bus which stops at the top of the road.

The chalet has wonderful views down into the Thones valley and up into the Aravis mountains, where ski runs are visible. It looks out onto pastoral land and forests, where there are walking/hiking trails to enjoy.

Set on 3 levels this chalet offers all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting.

The chalet has sleeping accommodation for 10 people in 2 double bedrooms, with double beds, 2 twin rooms with two single beds and a room with bunk beds, which are large enough to accommodate 2 adults (good head clearance).

Three of the bedrooms open out onto the southwestern balcony and have a wonderful view down the valley.

The chalet offers ample bathroom facilities with two shower rooms (one with toilet), one family bathroom (with bath and shower) and one upstairs toilet.

Chalet Desgranges also boasts a Modern fully equipped kitchen, with hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fondu sets, crockery, pans and fridge/freezer. Washing machine and drying facilities.

There is a homely living room with tv/SKY, DVD and a hi-fi system, and doors opening onto a terrace. The dining room with table seats up to 10 people comfortably. There is also a BBQ and outdoor furniture on the terraced area leading off living room

Access is provided up through the garage or up the side steps to the house. The double garage on the lower ground floor is perfect for a ski store and also offers parking for 3 cars.

Linen provided, but rented on a self clean basis.
