There are lots of activities to keep the kids occupied in La Clusaz and the surrounding area. Activities that the whole family can enjoy all year round. Nobody ever has to be bored. Just take a look at some of our comments from the kids and parents.

For really younger guests there are a couple of skiing and non-skiing children's clubs in the winter who take children from 8 months, 3 and 5 years (BCG injections and medical book are required), and who offer activities on a half or full day basis throughout the ski season. These children's clubs also operate within the peak summer months of July and August, and organise all sorts of adventurous summer outings and activities for the children. Places must be booked in advance as they are very popular.

As a catered guest you will be offered use of our private ski lockers for the winter months so families can store all their ski equipment, a change of clothes and boots, and sledges close to the main lifts, creches and lesson areas. This gives you the freedom and opportunity to change to another activity in the afternoons without being burdened with ski equipment.

The tourist information organises lots of activities in the town during the peak winter and summer months. Ask your hosts when you arrive and they will let you know what's going on in the town, or check out the La Clusaz tourist information web site in advance.

In the winter we are positioned close to the ski lifts and slopes for winter, and catered guests are offered a private minibus shuttle from the chalet everyday to get them to lessons and the slopes. The ski bus stop virtually on the doorstep the chalet making it perfect for families who don't want to spend a whole day on the slopes.

Ski's and boots can be pre-booked and fitted at Chalet Fan la Bise (so not crowded shops to bother with), and lift passes pre-booked and collected so they are ready and waiting when you arrive. Lessons and childcare can also be arranged in advance, to make your holiday as hassle free as possible.

In the remaining seasons of the year we can book any activities you may want to try and transport you to and from your activities, just tell us what you want to do during your stay!

Inside our family friendly chalet is a relaxing lounge (with open fire) and sofas to allow families to feel completely at home. A 'kidszone' area houses all the board games, videos, satellite TV, DVD's and playstation games needed to keep the kids (and dads!) occupied. Not to mention the snooker and table tennis tables for the older kids.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 with children and we have a combination of room sizes to suit your families needs. The accommodation is on two levels and consists of:
Lower ground floor - double bedroom with ensuite shower room with WC.
Ground floor - double bedroom, family room (two sets of bunk beds) and bathroom with WC.
First floor - x2 Double/twin rooms - our family annex which is two adjoining attic rooms with a private WC and shower. Check out our family rates. The chalet can be booked on an 'exclusive use' basis for large families or groups of two or three families holidaying together.
A travel cot and high chair are available for really young guests and a sofa bed isalso available on the mezzanine if needed

Children's meals can be served at 6.00pm or earlier if required, and a small garden allows the kids to play freely outside the chalet until dinner time. We have a selection of sledges to borrow in the winter months, and some lovely slopes to use them on!

We provide well balanced two course meals for the kids based on the adults menu. Sorry no chicken nuggets, definitely food Jamie Oliver would be proud of! In the summer months, if you fancy a whole day on the mountainside where there are no accessible restaurants, we can pack you up a picnic for a small extra charge, just let us know in advance, what you would like in it.

Babysitting for the day or evening can be arranged, just let us know in advance if you fancy a bit of R&R or an evening out.

Your hosts also stay in the chalet, and are on hand to answer any questions you may have concerning shops or facilities within La Clusaz.
