Close to the peaks in winter and walking trails in the summer Chalet Fan la Bise is superbly positioned on the hillside above La Clusaz facing the main peaks of the Aravis mountains.

The La Balme cable car is the closest ski lift to the chalet and allows access the high altitude skiing areas of La Balme (2400m) and Aiguille (2322m). The nursery slopes of Bossonet and the main La Clusaz ski area of the Cret de Merle close by via car or ski bus (the closest stop is 200m) which passes by every 15 minutes.

Chalet Fan La Bise offers comfortable spacious accommodation for couples, families and groups.The relaxing lounge, with comfy leather sofas and an open fire offers a haven for guests to chill out at the end of the day.

The separate TV lounge enables guests to keep up-to-date with the latest news on satellite TV or just be entertained by the latest DVD's and videos. We also have WiFi broadband if you need to connect via your laptop whilst staying with us, and a permanent online connection to the web via our dedicated chalet computer*.

A separate 'kids zone' mezzanine keeps the kids (and dads!) occupied with a PS1 & PS2, nintendoWii with numerous games, children's DVD's, videos, and an abundance of board games, books and toys.

The extensive south and west facing balconies and decking area (with lounge chairs and sofas) offer stunning views of the Aravis mountains and Beauregard plateau and are a perfect spots to relax and catch the sun throughout the day, chill out and enjoy one of our BBQ's on a hot summer evening.

The chalet sleeps 10 guests on as catered basis (4 bedrooms) and up to 12 guests (4 bedrooms plus double sofa bed) on a self catered basis.

A quad room on the 2nd level offers 2 sets of bunk beds, perfect for the kids or a group of mates. The 2nd level also offers a double room with stunning views of the Aravis mountains. These 2 rooms share a large bathroom with WC.

The two adjoining bedrooms on the top floor(level 1) make up an ideal 4 bedded family suite, with it's own private bath/shower ensuite facilities. This suite is perfect for family bookings and qualifies for our special family rates.

 2nd level offers a family suite room (with private ensuite facilities) containg a double or twin beds, with an adjoining attic room with two single beds.

Your booking will be secured when we have received a completed booking form and a deposit of £150 per person for a catered stay or £1,000 for a self catered stay. The outstanding balance is due no less than eight weeks before the start of your stay. For bookings made within this eight-week period, the balance must be paid in full at the time of booking.

 Chalet Fan La Bise
go to gravité home page This traditional wooden catered chalet (Fan la Bise) sleeps up to sleeps 10 on a catered, B&B or 10-12 on a self catered basis and is located on the edge of the typically savoyard village of La Clusaz which nestles at the base of the beautiful Aravis mountains in the northern French Alps, just over an hour from Geneva. Its stunning location offers easy access to both the mountains and lakes of the region, and an abundance of activities for all seasons. Fan La Bise is within walking distance of the town and within a few minutes to the pistes of La Balme, Fernuy and Bossonet, which can be seen from the lounge, bedroom windows and balcony.
