Ronde des Alpes, 27/06/2008 To 29/06/2008 - Vintage car rally organised by enthusiasts in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Street VTT, 28/06/2008 - A new formula, adapted to ski cross, the competitors will have to ride a 1,5 km of a route composed of urban obstacles.

Walk in the moonlight, 19/07/2008 - Just imagine... Summer's evenings in La Clusaz, a calm atmosphere, the moon and candles to light the way.
A magical ambiance guaranteed: the enchantment of the village for all to see in the middle of the night! Wander through the streets and discover the many artists in the village, here especially for you.

Antiques market, 23/07/2008 - A day of secondhand market to stroll, cloud between old pieces of furniture, crockery and books.

Country fair, 23/07/2008 - The craftsmen of La Clusaz will demonstrate how to make tavaillon (wooden shingles). See Reblochon cheese and Bossonnet bread being made enjoy a country meal and folk dances by Lou Socali folklore troupe.

Les Confins cycle race, 26/07/2008 - La Clusaz's renowned timed cycling race ! The race starts in the resort centre and finishes at the top of les Confins : 6.2 kms over a vertical incline of 392 metres!

National paragliding competition, 26/07/2008 To 27/07/2008 - This competition collects 120 pilots of whole France. 2 courses will be navigated over the 2 days.

Village festival, 02/08/2008 To 03/08/2008 - A week-end of games, entertainment, activities and shows especially aimed at children. Throughout the two days you will discover traditional dances while enjoying the giant tartiflette (local cheese and potato speciality) and wandering through the stands. In the evening soak up the atmosphere of the village dance with music, refreshments and coloured garlands.

Reblochon festival, 10/08/2008 - A parade of floats, re-enacted scenes through "tableaux vivants", activities, bread making, and folk dances...a day to celebrate our craftsmen and farmers and our famous Reblochon cheese, made late in the afternoon in a huge copper cauldron and eaten freshly molded. Almost 10 000 spectators come every year to the green pastures of the Bossonnet to recapture some of the spirit of the olden days and to taste many Savoyard specialties.

23rd edition - Bélier des Aravis, 24/08/2008 - 27 km long race is with a vertical climb of 1000m over the alpine trails surrounding the village.

La Croix fair, 14/09/2008 - This is the first fair of the autumn fairs and it is held in the Thônes district. It brings together the best Abondance cows that aspire to the highest distinctions. It also hosts the best Reblochon contest. Mountain farmers, shepherds and goat herders all get together to celebrate the end of summer and the return of the herds and flocks to the village. Enjoy the parade of animals, the contests and an evening with the farmers.

La Clusaz is a fantastic destination for the summer months, frequently hitting the high 30's. This year there have been lots of summer events organised in the town, not to mention all that the great outdoor activities on offer. Stunning scenery, fantastic walks both in the fields and on the high mountains, challenging downhill and gentle cross country mountain biking courses through lush pastures and forests, as well as fresh mountain lakes to swim, canoe, kayak or sail in.
