Situated in La Clusaz at the base Aravis
chain of the Alps, the altitude ranges from 2753m of Pointe
Percee in the east, to 2409m of Mont Charvin in
the west. Walking or high altitude hiking are without doubt the best
ways to explore this fabulous chain of mountains and experience the
breathtaking panoramas. We can provide well-marked maps so you don't get lost! And information concerning the many local walking routes. Once you have decided which routes you would like to tackle, we can arrange a rendezvous time and point (if not on one of the summer bus route) to whisk you back to the chalet for a well deserved rest and refuel. |

| During the months of June to September, you will also find welcoming mountain refuges on some of the high altitude routes, which offer mainly regional home cooked dishes, and provide a perfect mid-way stopping point for a hearty lunch. Some of the refuges also offer evening accommodation, so if you fancy something out of the ordinary and want to stay on the mountain and complete a two or more day hike, just let us know. These can be reserved in advance, so give us a few days notice and we will see what we can do to provide a truly unique experience for you on the mountain. |
